Jinpan International Ltd. designs, manufactures, and sells equipment for the control and distribution of electricity. Our product lines include cast resin transformers, vacuum pressure impregnation (“VPI”) transformers and reactors, and switchgears. We also provide integrated product solutions such as transformer substations, an integrated assembly of our high and low voltage switchgears and our cast resin transformers in a space saving weather resistant enclosure.
We are a market leader in China’s cast resin transformer industry. For nearly 20 years, we have built a widely recognized brand based on excellent product quality, attentive customer service, and efficient manufacturing. We have also become a global supplier of transformer products serving as qualified suppliers to well-known U.S. and European OEMs.
We leverage our engineering capabilities to design and to manufacture high end, customized electrical control and distribution equipment used for demanding industrial applications an infrastructure projects.
Revenue from the sale of customized transformers (including those for wind energy applications) continues to become a more significant piece of our business and, as of 2010, exceeds the size of our standard distribution transformers segment. |
